Intelligent Health is not a good fit for people with the following circumstances or conditions:

  • Bipolar disorders, Borderline personality disorder, Eating disorders, Ongoing high risk self-harm behavior, Schizoaffective disorder, Schizophrenia spectrum disorders, Substance use disorders, Suicidal ideation

2. I already have a therapist, can I still use Intelligent Health?

We welcome the opportunity to partner with your therapist or counselor to provide you with medication management services. We can provide an expert opinion or collaborate with your current doctors (PCP, OB-GYN, Cardiologist etc) to optimize your overall health.

3. How often will I need to see a provider?

This is highly individualized based on your specific situation. Frequency of visits will decrease as your symptoms improve.

4. Which medications do you offer?

Intelligent Health offers variety of medication options, including SSRIs, SNRIs and similar to treat symptoms of anxiety and depression. Our providers only prescribe medications if they are confident that they will be safe, effective, and appropriate for your unique condition.

5. Why do I have to upload government-issued ID?

Your provider will need to confirm your identity and date of birth before you can be treated via telemedicine. The photo ID must include: first name, last name, date of birth, unobstructed photo of your face (must be recent, no filters or pictures of pictures) and expiration date (your ID cannot be expired).

6. Does Intelligent Health accept insurance?

We are in-network with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, Aetna, Cigna, UHC, Oxford, Oscar, and UMR. Many other insurance carriers have generous out-of-network benefits that provide reimbursement for a substantial portion of fees. We provide a comprehensive invoice (i.e., a “super bill”) if requested, that you can submit to your insurance carrier. Please contact your insurance company prior to your visit to verify what type of benefits you do have. Regardless of your ability to receive reimbursement, full payment for all services is required at the time of each appointment. We are currently not accepting new Medicare or Medicaid patients, even if you are self-pay.
